Welcome

TLR-DS-Sanctuary-xc2-W.jpg
Once again, almost a year – a tumultuous, roller coaster of a year, has passed, and I have found myself way overworked again.
Wanting to find time to upgrade my websites, and just not finding that time.
However, I have at last spent much time over some months reworking the look of the website, and assembling bucket-loads of new things to post – so check back and see what you think when the new make – new model megabytes your way in the proximal future.
The new site will finally be closer to what I always wanted the site to be; new presentations, features and more sections and pages.
I apologize for two things: Firstly, for not being more of a fanatic for site updates and frankly, the site largely said much of what I wanted it to. Secondly, I am looking into whether it’s viable to have a Shop section, to help sell posters and so forth.
I’m just an average working shmoe, not massively enterprising, but massively enthusiastic and passionate about my work.
A friendly reminder – some stuff on this site is Adult Material, so parents are advised to show vigilance and discretion when allowing family members to view it.

Ciao for the nonce

LOST IN SPACE—VOYAGE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SOUL Parts 1 to 12, some 380 pages of full colour comics art by me and mine and written by Bill Mumy who played Will Robinson in the original Lost In Space TV show is finally completed and should be hitting the bookstores and virtual shopping carts very soon.

In some ways LIS:VTBOS was a bit like a mountaineer taking on Everest or the Matterhorn (the hard face), and I am amazed by the feeling of accomplishment in finally being allowed to finish what I started all those years ago. But the added bonus is that it is also a job I can feel proud of. The completed project is like a book-ended voyage through comics history: 6 issues produced at a time when computers were not yet fully impacting on the comics industry, and six issues featuring more work produced taking advantage of the digital age – a work straddling both epochs – two ages of media, the manual/mechanical and the digital.

It was a massive undertaking, made more difficult by the sumptuous computer colouring, so I am very much hoping that Bill’s gritty writing and the eye-popping art will blow you all away!!!
