Welcome

TLR-DS-Sanctuary-xc2-W.jpg
Once again, almost a year – a tumultuous, roller coaster of a year, has passed, and I have found myself way overworked again.
Wanting to find time to upgrade my websites, and just not finding that time.
However, I have at last spent much time over some months reworking the look of the website, and assembling bucket-loads of new things to post – so check back and see what you think when the new make – new model megabytes your way in the proximal future.
The new site will finally be closer to what I always wanted the site to be; new presentations, features and more sections and pages.
I apologize for two things: Firstly, for not being more of a fanatic for site updates and frankly, the site largely said much of what I wanted it to. Secondly, I am looking into whether it’s viable to have a Shop section, to help sell posters and so forth.
I’m just an average working shmoe, not massively enterprising, but massively enthusiastic and passionate about my work.
A friendly reminder – some stuff on this site is Adult Material, so parents are advised to show vigilance and discretion when allowing family members to view it.

Ciao for the nonce

ARTEASETIC – EXCITING NEW RELEASE ART PRINT SERIES AND MERCHANDISE

This latest series is some of my favourite PinUp work. They are some of my faves because I used to be an abstract painter, only coming to realistic illustration relatively late in life. These retouched and updated versions have been specially prepared for this release. These are only available as ADULTS ONLY VERSIONS! The concepts to these do not lend themselves to a PG version. Each has a basis in a particular 20th Century art or cultural movement that is stylistically significant and has inspired me. In fact, a couple of these are directly inspired by some of my own pieces of work began as paintings some 25 years ago. I intend to do another series like this when I can find time in the next two years:

Beats Supreme
A synthesis of Graphic elements inspired by Photoshop and its possibilities, and partly inspired by the Abstract Expressionists and their cousins; Kline, Hartung, Motherwell and even Pollock. I had wanted to use this as the cover to my next Pin-Up Book – but I have been warned it is too racy.

Curves And Angles
This rather bemused , spectacular-looking girl is forced into a pose to complement a piece of art inspired by some sketches I made for a painting I never finished. It is inspired by Calder, Vasarely and Suprematism in general. This was used the the Second volume of FLIRT: THE ART OF NAUGHTY from SQP Publishing. Victor Vasarely is one of my all-time fave painters.

Brassy Psychedelic
Partly inspired by 1960’s Psychedelia and the psychedelic experience, Christian Dior glasses and the paintings of Mel Ramos. The pose was based on Evelyn Lory, a popular nude model. The piece of background art was originally designed as an E-Card for my brother for Christmas.

In Proportion
This is just a vaguely Surrealist piece. The girl was inspired by net model Erica Campbell. It reminded me of the Hitchcock movie Spellbound, and that in turn contained a delirium sequence that was inspired by Satvador Dali, who, along with John Waterhouse, is one of my favourite painters.

Because I can’t display the full art here, I have created a Downloadable DeskTop Montages featuring all four pieces.

All four pieces are now available from my online store at RedBubble.
